Obstetric Specialist Lead

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is seeking an experienced obstetric specialist to lead our team in providing high-quality care to women and families in North Wales. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering obstetric scanning services, working closely with other fetal medicine colleagues and tertiary centres. This is a full-time substantive post based at Glan Clwyd Hospital, offering a competitive salary of £110,000 - £140,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures for obstetric scanning services
- Leading a team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
- Collaborating with other specialists and stakeholders to ensure seamless patient pathways
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in obstetrics and gynaecology, with a strong focus on fetal medicine. A CCT or equivalent qualification is essential, as is membership of the RCOG. The ability to communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and healthcare professionals is also crucial.
