Print Production Specialist

A Print Production Specialist is required to provide print room services to iDPP customers. This position has become available due to cover required for annual leave and retirement. The printed information handled includes sensitive documents such as child protection court bundles, fostering, and adoption. Therefore, a DBS check is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce and bind documents according to specifications and agreed turnarounds with customers.
- Manage printer, copier, and scanner maintenance, including paper stock and toner replenishment, component replacement, and cleaning.
- Assist with stock control and maintain accurate records of inventory.
- Ensure external contractors adhere to ESCC H&S policies during on-site visits.
- Maintain paper and IT-based systems, including data input and retrieval.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent).
- Good IT skills, including PDF management, database administration, email, and MS Office proficiency.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to learn printing intricacies quickly.
- Experience with Electric Guillotines and Ricoh printers (Ricoh Pro C7200S, Ricoh Pro 8310S, Ricoh IM C5500, Epson SureColor SC-T5400) is essential.
- Previous experience in supporting staff or the public is desirable.
The estimated salary for this role is £10,000 - £12,000 per annum, depending on experience. The rate is inside IR35.
