About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Ranger. As a champion of nature conservation, you will play a crucial role in protecting and preserving our beautiful countryside and coast.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the protection and care of our woodland and estate, including habitats, wildlife, property, and machinery.
- Develop and lead a new Ranger volunteer team, inspiring others to love and protect our natural environment.
- Deliver outstanding outdoors experiences and excellent conservation work, working collaboratively with our dedicated property team.
- Volunteer, participate, and engage with our community, promoting the importance of conservation and the value of our work.
Requirements
- Practical experience in conservation work, protecting and improving habitats and landscapes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to talk to all kinds of people about the work you're doing.
- Hard-working and willing to learn, with a strong commitment to safety and risk assessment.
- Experience in managing land, access, and conservation, with the ability to use machinery and equipment.
- A driver with a full UK driving licence.
