About the Role

This is a part-time opportunity, with 3 full days per week, based in Edinburgh. You will be responsible for managing the payroll function for our client, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payrolls, as well as providing excellent customer service to employees and management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collate data and process several four-weekly payrolls, including sickness, absence, bonus/overtime payments, holidays, and pensions.
  • Process starters and leavers through the payroll system.
  • Finalise holiday requests, complying with company procedures.
  • Respond to queries from employees and management.
  • Ensure payroll is processed accurately, compliantly, and on time.
  • Support internal and external audits related to payroll.
  • Assist with other ad-hoc duties as required.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous payroll administrative experience.
  • End-to-end knowledge and experience of using a computerised payroll package.
  • A professional approach and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • A working knowledge of Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Able to plan and prioritise own workload.

In return, we offer a competitive salary of £42,000 - £52,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
