Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage proposals to win new business for our clients
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather information for proposal development
  • Develop detailed and accurate technical and commercial proposals
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards
  • Prepare and present proposal documents and presentations to clients
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and technical advancements
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain necessary quotations and technical data
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for proposal submissions
  • Manage multiple proposal projects simultaneously
  • Support post-submission activities, including client clarifications and contract finalizations
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in estimating and/or sales
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Good understanding of welds, fabrication, and stainless alloys
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office Packages, including Word, Excel, and Microsoft project
  • Basic understanding of AutoCAD Software
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Good understanding of health & safety, environmental issues, and quality rules
  • Previous estimating experience essential
  • Ability to read Engineering Drawings Essential
  • Leadership capabilities with experience in managing and motivating teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • Fabrication experience (welding) desirable
  • Engineering Purchasing experience may be considered
  • Previous Experience in Manufacturing or Engineering sector is preferred
