Job Title: Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse

Location: Oaklands Hospital, Salford

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse to join our Theatre department at Oaklands Hospital, Salford. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and supporting our surgeons during operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert scrub nursing care to patients undergoing orthopaedic surgery
• Assist surgeons during operations, ensuring a safe and efficient surgical environment
• Collaborate with the theatre team to maintain a clean and organized operating theatre
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals

Requirements:

• NMC registration with no restrictions or conditions
• 3 years minimum surgical scrub experience
• Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) desirable
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
• Flexible and positive attitude
• A warm, considerate, and empathetic character
