We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Sheffield Health and Social Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Psychologist - Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality psychological services to stroke survivors and their families.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team in delivering evidence-based care to patients across the stroke pathway. You will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with complex psychological needs, as well as providing supervision and training to junior staff members.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist psychological assessments and interventions to patients with stroke-related conditions.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Supervise and train junior staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
- Contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes.
- Degree-level qualifications in Clinical Psychology or equivalent experience.
- Post-graduate training in assessment and treatment of stroke-related conditions.
- Experience of working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A competitive salary of £42,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
