Job Title: Digital Weekend Editor

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Digital Weekend Editor to join our team at Tbwa Chiat/Day Inc. As a Digital Weekend Editor, you will be responsible for commissioning and editing critical news stories and features in Europe and across our international network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commissioning: Actively commission stories with the confidence to make big calls and give our coverage a distinct edge.
  • Editing: Edit a wide range of stories swiftly and accurately, from short news pieces to in-depth reads.
  • Story Presentation: Ensure our stories are presented in the most compelling way possible, pulling in readers with sharp headlines and strong leads.
  • Digital Storytelling: Spearhead digital storytelling projects and be ready to publish/produce across multiple platforms.
  • Newsroom Presentations: Present when required the day's top global stories at newsroom meetings.
  • Weekend Shifts: Weekend shifts are required as part of the team rota.

Requirements:

We are looking for an experienced foreign correspondent with a desire to move into editing or an editor with regional knowledge and reporting experience.
