Mobile Powered Access Engineer Opportunity

Alecto Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled Mobile Powered Access Engineer to join their team in Essex. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and inspections on a variety of mobile powered access equipment, including scissor lifts, boom lifts, and other elevated work platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mobile powered access equipment
  • Conduct thorough examinations of lifting equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Travel to customer sites and work outside of normal business hours
Requirements:
  • Strong technical knowledge of mobile powered access equipment
  • Experience with hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
  • IPAF certification for mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs)
  • LOLER certification for thorough examinations of lifting equipment
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours and travel to customer sites
