Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in providing specialist occupational therapy services for individuals with complex physical, psychological, and cognitive needs. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering assessments, developing care plans, and implementing interventions to promote functional independence and quality of life.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialist assessments and interventions for service users with complex neurological impairments
  • Work collaboratively with service users, carers, and families to develop personalized care plans
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and provide recommendations for seating, postural management, and upper limb management
  • Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation programs to promote functional independence and quality of life
  • Engage in complex regional discharge planning and facilitate environmental assessment/recommendation

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
  • Holds professional registration with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC)
  • Significant post-registration experience in rehabilitation relevant to the post
  • Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT)
  • Active involvement in service development and quality initiatives
  • Experience working with neurological conditions

Salary: £38,890 - £44,041 per annum
