Supporting Students in a Primary School


We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Education Support Professional to join our team in a primary school in Colchester. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be working with Key Stage 2 pupils, helping them to achieve their full potential. This is a full-time, long-term position with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Support individual students or small groups in their learning journey.
  • Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom activities.
  • Encourage academic, social, and emotional growth in pupils.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Build strong relationships with students and staff.

Requirements:



  • Experience working with children, but a great attitude and passion for education are essential.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • A valid DBS on the update service, or the willingness to obtain one.

Please note that all pay rates quoted are inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with the option to become permanent at a later date.
