We are seeking a reliable and skilled Concrete Lorry Driver to join our team at Ashburton District Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting concrete to various locations across mid-Canterbury.
About the Role:- The role involves operating a large fleet of trucks to ensure timely delivery of concrete to commercial, rural, and residential projects.
- You will be working in a fast-paced environment with early morning starts and Saturday mornings being the norm.
- A Class 4 driver's license is essential for this role.
- Deliver concrete to construction sites throughout mid-Canterbury.
- Operate heavy goods vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols and regulations.
- A valid Class 4 driver's license
- Good communication and customer service skills
- An aptitude for technical and mechanical work
- Ability to work safely and efficiently
The estimated salary for this role is between $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
