Job Title: Interpreter Translator Required In Pitlochry Perthshire

We are seeking a skilled interpreter translator to join our team at Language Empire. As a freelance interpreter, you will work with various clients across the UK, providing high-quality interpreting services in a range of settings.

About The Job

As an interpreter translator, you will be responsible for listening to, understanding, and reproducing speech in the target language with 100% accuracy. You will work with clients in various settings, including the NHS, Local Authorities, Police, Probation, and other public and private organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret for people using legal, health, and local government services
  • Check the non-English speakers understanding after each sentence
  • Conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting
  • Dealing with highly confidential information
  • Liaise between the service user and service provider
Requirements
  • Fluent in English and another language
  • All applicants must have the right to work in the UK
  • You must be aged 21 or over
  • Formal qualifications such as Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI), Community Interpreting, NRPSI, CIOL, ITI registered, or Degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages
