About the Role

We are seeking a Behaviour Mentor to join our team at Overstone Park School. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting students who require additional help to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups to provide individualized support and guidance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to address challenging behavior and promote positive relationships with students.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure a comprehensive and supportive learning environment.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students who are experiencing difficulties.
  • Work with families and the wider community to promote student well-being and achievement.
Requirements
  • Qualification in Level 2 or 3 in childcare or Health and social care.
  • Three years of experience working with children or within the care sector.
  • Ability to work effectively with students, families, and staff members.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
