Asbestos Auditor Job Description

At Tersus Consultancy, we are seeking a highly skilled Asbestos Auditor to join our team. As an Asbestos Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our asbestos-related services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct on-site witness auditing, reinspection, and desktop reviews of reports as required.
  • Audit air-monitoring/clearance operations (desirable but not essential).
  • Provide quality training and development of field-based teams.
  • Monitor levels of staff authorisation and auditing.
  • Support trainees in their training, qualification process, and sign off.
  • Cooperate with the Quality Manager to meet UKAS accreditation quality processes and continuously improve quality levels.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and meet their KPIs (including quality and report delivery KPIs).
  • Assist in any complaint investigation proactively.
Requirements:
  • BOHS P402 or (RSPH) Level 3 Certificate in Asbestos Inspection Surveying.
  • BOHS Certificate of Competence in Asbestos.
  • Surveying, bulk sampling, and report approval skill set in accordance with documented HSE and internal procedures.
