We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Training to lead our technical training initiatives.

• Develop and implement a comprehensive training strategy that aligns with our mission to advance deep sea exploration.
• Manage the delivery of training programmes, ensuring they are effective, engaging, and meet industry standards.
• Oversee a team of training designers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence in creating high-quality training programmes.
• Drive the adoption of cutting-edge training technologies, such as simulation-based learning, VR, AR, and e-learning platforms.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training content is accurate, relevant, and effective.
• Manage the full training cycle, from identifying needs to gaining external validation and accreditation.
• Select and manage external vendors and resources for training programme development and delivery.

• Recognised qualification in training, such as CTT+ or CIPD.
• Extensive experience in instructional design, training development, or a related role, including leadership positions.
• Proven track record in designing and executing successful adult training programmes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.
• Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and familiarity with contemporary training design and delivery methods.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and continuous improvement focus.
• Desirable: A relevant master's or bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Learning and Development, Adult Learning, or a related field.
