Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Gas Engineer to join our dynamic team at Elevation Property Maintenance. As a Gas Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects in both residential and commercial settings, delivering exceptional service to our valued clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Install, service, and repair plumbing and heating systems, including boilers, radiators, and hot water cylinders
  2. Conduct safety checks on heating systems and gas appliances
  3. Identify and resolve gas leaks and other faults within plumbing and heating systems
  4. Provide expert advice on energy efficiency and cost-saving heating solutions
  5. Use power tools and equipment for installations and repairs
  6. Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment as needed
  7. Apply mechanical expertise to troubleshoot and fix plumbing and heating issues
  8. Carry out pipework installations, repairs, and soldering/welding tasks
  9. Assemble plumbing and heating components with hand tools
  10. Apply basic carpentry skills when installing heating systems or making repairs

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a Gas Engineer or similar role
  2. Gas Safe registered (preferred)
  3. Plumbing qualifications or relevant experience in plumbing systems installation and maintenance
  4. Knowledge of gas safety regulations and procedures
  5. Experience with both domestic and commercial plumbing systems
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  7. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on gas and plumbing systems
  8. Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
  9. Experience in diagnosing and repairing faults in both heating and plumbing systems
