About the Role

Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust is seeking a skilled Radiographer to join our team. As a Diagnostic Radiographer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to patients in our community.

Key Responsibilities

• Work autonomously to image patients attending the radiology department.
• Maintain a high standard of imaging and personal behavior.
• Ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
• Provide patient care, dignity, and comfort.
• Alert the referrer or arrange provision for an urgent radiological report where necessary.
• Familiarize yourself with clinical governance principles and strive to maintain high-quality patient care.
• Ensure correct use of equipment and report clinical incidents and faults to the team lead.

Requirements

• DCR or BSc in Diagnostic Radiography.
• HCPC registration.
• 3 years post-graduation experience.
• Previous experience of working single-handed and QA testing.
• Knowledge of IRMER 17 regulations and skilled in plain film x-ray techniques.
