Job Opportunity: Senior Quantity Surveyor

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for providing cost management services to our clients across various sectors, including Higher and Further Education, Local Authority, Residential, Social Housing, Private Houses, Hotel and Leisure, Commercial Developments, Retail, Community projects, and Restoration/Conservation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cost Management: Provide cost management services to clients, including traditional quantity surveying, employers' agent, project management, CDM services, specialist M&E measurement, billing, and costing, procurement, and dispute resolution.
  • Project Management: Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, and within budget.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other professionals, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure seamless project delivery.

Requirements

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Associate-level professional.
  • Qualifications: Chartered status or working towards it, with a strong understanding of cost management principles.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, project management, and cost management skills.
