About the Role

CMB Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our client's existing Design Team. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for liaising with customers and producing 3D designs for new products and amendments to existing products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with customers to understand their design requirements
  • Produce 3D designs for new products and amendments to existing products
  • Consider the manufacturing process and provide a balance between functionality and aesthetics
  • Work collaboratively with the Design Team to ensure designs meet customer requirements
Requirements
  • Hold a degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Design Engineering
  • At least 2 year's experience working in a Manufacturing or Engineering environment
  • Strong design skills and experience with design software packages such as Solidworks, Catia, or Pro E
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
