Warehouse Associate

Heat Trace is a leading manufacturer and engineering company specializing in the production of highly technical heating cables for the oil and gas and advanced processing industries.

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join our team at our Helsby site. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for supporting despatch, stock control, receiving orders, picking and packing of orders, and maintaining a clean work area.

• Pack and Pick Orders: Ensure accurate and efficient packing and picking of orders for shipment.
• Quality Control: Perform quality control checks on processed stock and packaged items to ensure they meet company standards for customer satisfaction.
• Warehouse Operations: Perform warehouse operations in accordance with time, quality, and quantity targets, using materials and equipment as required.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with the warehouse and production teams to achieve deadlines and maintain a safe and efficient working environment.

• Attention to Detail: Demonstrate great attention to detail and a right-first-time approach in all aspects of the role.
• IT Literacy: Be proficient in the use of IT systems and equipment, including label printers and PC scanning systems.
• Counterbalance Forklift Certificate: Hold a current counterbalance forklift certificate.
• Enthusiasm and Willingness to Learn: Be enthusiastic and willing to learn new skills and contribute to continuous improvement.
