Software Testing Representative

The Software Testing Representative role is focused on making qualified appointments for our sales team with mid- and senior-level IT decision makers via a significant amount of telephone calling and follow-ups.

You'll be part of, and mentored by, an existing, professionally-run Sales & Marketing Team, and will be given full training on the services you'll be selling and the activities you'll be doing.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identify opportunities for software testing and other services by researching and cold calling new prospects.
  2. Update and maintain our Salesforce and Dot Digital CRM databases to ensure accurate lead tracking.
  3. Qualify leads and arrange calls/meetings between prospects and technical staff to facilitate business growth.
  4. Develop relationships and keep in contact with prospective clients to maintain a strong pipeline of business.
  5. Provide management with regular reports on progress, calls made, meetings booked and realistic likely pipeline of business.
  6. Conduct market research and analysis of competitors to stay ahead in the industry.

About the Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will learn quickly, possess great communication skills (especially on the phone), be able to demonstrate self-motivation, persistence and determination, work closely with teammates, and work effectively with little supervision when necessary.
