Automotive Service Technician

A N Richards is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to work on a variety of tasks, including HGV and trailer servicing, MOT preparation, diagnostic testing, and repair.

• Interpret instructions from job cards/repair orders and follow documented quality procedures.
• Comply with repair instructions and stipulated settings and tolerances from manufacturers' manuals.
• Check and test all work done to the highest possible standards.
• Accurately report and record work done, and tests carried out.
• Advise the parts department of necessary parts for the repair at the earliest opportunity.
• Protect and take care of customers' and the company's property.
• Maintain allocated work areas in a clean and tidy condition.
• Ensure all guidelines on health and safety are followed.

• All skill levels considered and apprenticeships available.

• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• ICT Proficient - previous experience of using a range of software packages is desirable.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a busy, fast-paced environment.
