A N Richards is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to work on a variety of tasks, including HGV and trailer servicing, MOT preparation, diagnostic testing, and repair.
Main Responsibilities- Interpret instructions from job cards/repair orders and follow documented quality procedures.
- Comply with repair instructions and stipulated settings and tolerances from manufacturers' manuals.
- Check and test all work done to the highest possible standards.
- Accurately report and record work done, and tests carried out.
- Advise the parts department of necessary parts for the repair at the earliest opportunity.
- Protect and take care of customers' and the company's property.
- Maintain allocated work areas in a clean and tidy condition.
- Ensure all guidelines on health and safety are followed.
- All skill levels considered and apprenticeships available.
- A commitment to the achievement of company goals and targets.
- Ability to work within guidelines given.
- Proactive and outstanding level of service.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- ICT Proficient - previous experience of using a range of software packages is desirable.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent administrative support to the service and parts departments.
- Awareness and understanding of health and safety requirements.
