Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to join our team, responsible for developing and maintaining a deep understanding of customer use cases to inform roadmaps that directly address customer wants/needs.

The successful candidate will stay abreast of market trends, new technologies, and regulatory frameworks to inform smart, commercial decision making, and work closely with our Head of Product, developers, and senior stakeholders to define and prioritize product features and improvements.

The role will also involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine, plan, and release enabling firmware, contributing to the development of product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs, and conducting competitive analysis to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer use cases to inform roadmaps that directly address customer wants/needs.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, new technologies, and regulatory frameworks to inform smart, commercial decision making.
  • Work closely with our Head of Product, developers, and senior stakeholders to define and prioritize product features and improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine, plan, and release enabling firmware.
  • Contribute to the development of product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation.
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation.
  • Generate regular reports and presentations to communicate findings and progress to stakeholders.
  • Write Users Stories and detailed technical Acceptance Criteria.
Requirements
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams as a mid-level or senior product manager.
  • Experience writing technical requirements, documentation, and NFRs.
  • A Strong technical background with exposure to big data, embedded systems, and the energy sector.
  • Sector experience is desired, but not essential.
  • An Agile evangelist, recognizing the merit of shipping small solutions to big problems before delivering fast iterations informed by customer feedback to hone the feature or proposition.
  • Excellent project management skills with a track record of successful product delivery.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards in the energy storage industry is a plus.
