About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team in a community-based setting, working with adults to provide rehabilitation services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assess and treat clients with diverse needs, using evidence-based practices and patient-centered principles.
  2. Manage a caseload of clients with simple to complex needs, with supervision and guidance as necessary.
  3. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, working closely with multidisciplinary teams.
  4. Screen and assess complex referrals, determining priority, needs, and initiating intervention plans.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective referral management and best client care.
  6. Prescribe, delegate, and monitor the work of rehabilitation assistants and counter-sign documentation.
  7. Educate and teach carers/health workers to participate in ongoing rehabilitation care programs.
  8. Contribute to the implementation of new specialist clinical services within the team.
  9. Maintain and update a Continuing Professional Development Portfolio (CPD).
