We are partnering with a leading global technology company, AV and Broadcast, to create captivating installations that engage audiences worldwide.

Owing to major growth, they're looking to hire a Junior Project Engineer with at least 2 years of AV or Broadcast Engineering experience to support the creation of immersive experiences across the UK, Ireland, and Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the technical aspects of various projects: Provide technical support and expertise throughout all phases of AV projects, from initial concept to final delivery, to assist in their planning and execution.
  • Assist in developing detailed designs and schematics using CAD software: Work with senior engineers to create accurate designs and schematics using CAD software. These designs will guide the installation and integration of AV systems.
  • Participate in site surveys to inform project planning: Conduct site visits to assess project requirements, measure spaces, and identify any potential challenges. Use the information gathered to help develop project plans and ensure successful implementation.
  • Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team: Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, including project managers, designers, and engineers, to ensure all technical aspects align with project goals and client expectations.
  • Contribute to technical proposals to secure new business: Provide input on system design, technical feasibility, and resource requirements to assist in preparing technical proposals. Help the team present compelling solutions that meet client needs and support business growth.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of current experience in AV or Broadcast Engineering: Demonstrated experience in the audio-visual or Broadcast industry
  • Basic proficiency in CAD or AutoCAD: Ability to use AutoCAD to create technical drawings, as well as proficiency in standard IT tools like Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.
