Sword Group, a leading provider of business technology solutions, is seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand its presence within the public sector in England. With a proven track record of developing new business, you will leverage your extensive network of contacts to attract new clients and unlock new revenue streams.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the CTO and Sales Lead to take our propositions to market, focusing on new business development and cross-selling to other Sword Group customers. You will help organise and attend industry customer events, collaborate with vendors to drive business growth, and develop strong professional relationships with prospects and customers to achieve 'Trusted Partner' status.

The ideal candidate will have a background selling to C-Suite, IT Ops Managers, and Infrastructure Managers, with a proven knowledge and execution of successful business development strategies. They will be highly motivated, goal-oriented, and target-driven, with excellent communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills.

In return, we offer a competitive salary of £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, a comprehensive benefits package, including generous annual leave allowance, enhanced family-friendly benefits, pension scheme, access to private health, well-being, and insurance schemes, an employee assistance programme, discounted cash plan, and more. We also provide a highly attractive, success-based, open-ended commission scheme.
