Cleanroom Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team at REED Specialist Recruitment. This is a full-time position with an estimated salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout our production facility in Moria. They will perform routine cleaning and sanitization of all production areas, including equipment, machinery, floors, walls, and surfaces.

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of production areas, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
• Clean and sanitize tools and equipment used in the production process
• Follow cleaning schedules as outlined by the Operations Manager
• Conduct regular checks on the cleanliness of facilities and equipment
• Safely dispose of waste materials according to company procedures
• Work closely with the Production team to ensure that cleaning activities do not interrupt production schedules

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a food manufacturing or industrial cleaning environment
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards such as HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points)
• Experience with cleaning equipment and chemicals used in an industrial or food production setting
