Job Overview
    We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Coordinator to join our team in Glasgow. This role will involve supporting the Project & Service Engineering Team, developing your skills and knowledge of electrical LV Switchgear control systems.

    As an ideal candidate, you will have switchgear experience, good communication skills, and the ability to work in a team environment. Training can be provided for LV electrical control systems designs and schematics.

    Main Responsibilities:
  • • Manage and own projects from start to finish, ensuring planned deadlines are met
        • Interpret, understand, and deal with customer enquiries or orders, communicating with other staff as necessary
        • Assess site work schedules, ensuring that all service work is planned, prepared, and carried out in an effective and efficient manner
        • Compile Risk Assessments and Method statements
        • Generate simple Electrical Drawings for all elements of the project's requirements (AutoCAD Electrical)
        • Carry out site surveys and/or attending site meetings when required (UK & overseas)
        • Ensure that the technical standards are maintained in all aspects of our project design work, in order that safe and successful project implementation and future reliability is achieved
        • Prepare and send quotations for customer enquiries
        • Sales order processing functions (input orders, acknowledgement, support, and invoice) including progressing customer orders
        • Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal departments verbally and in writing, as required to co-ordinate orders

    Requirements:
  • • Switchgear knowledge and application of contractual terms and conditions essential
        • Ability to translate customer specifications
        • PC literate with good understanding of Microsoft and other computer applications
        • Good administration skills, working to agreed Company and Departmental standards
