Key Responsibilities:

  • Manually sweep and litter pick public areas to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Operate a non-LGV vehicle (up to 3.5 tonnes) to collect refuse sacks, wheelie bins, and recycling containers
  • Work on trade or domestic refuse and recycling rounds, ensuring that all collections are completed to a high standard
  • Monitor and maintain refuse and recycling schedules to ensure compliance with council regulations
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • Valid driving license
  • Good knowledge of the local area
  • Physical fitness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Experience in sweeping, emptying litter bins, and refuse or recycling operations (desirable)
