About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Mechanical Installation Specialist. This exciting opportunity will see you working closely with an electrical site engineer, responsible for the installation, commissioning, and servicing of pumping and related equipment.

Your primary focus will be on attending nationwide installations and breakdowns, ensuring that our call-out policy is maintained. You will also be responsible for servicing, repairing, and assembling pumps and pumping equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Attend nationwide installation and breakdowns when necessary, adhering to our company's call-out policy.
  2. Service, repair, and assemble pumps and pumping equipment, guaranteeing optimal performance.
  3. Be prepared to work away from home for at least 1-2 nights per week, contributing to the success of our external team.
  4. Participate in a rota system, providing standby cover over weekends and bank holidays when required.
  5. Maintain the company vehicle, ensuring it is stocked with van-stock and tools at all times.
  6. Identify training needs, enabling continuous professional development within the team.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A mechanical qualification, demonstrating your technical expertise.
  • Confined space training, a desirable asset for this role.
  • CSCS certification, beneficial for safe working practices.
