Probation Navigator

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Probation Navigator to join our team at The Forward Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals on probation in Essex to successfully complete their supervision and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver interventions and programs to support individuals on probation in achieving their goals and reducing reoffending
- Work closely with colleagues and external partners to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to supporting individuals on probation
- Conduct regular reviews and assessments to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with individuals on probation, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure effective support and guidance
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a related field, such as probation, social work, or counseling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with individuals on probation and other stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the needs of individuals on probation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex issues
