Repositioning Architect

Your Role
As a Repositioning Architect – Mid-Level, you will leverage your creativity to design unique professional environments. You'll provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle, collaborating with teams across all stages. Your expertise in Revit and BIM Level 2 standards, coupled with excellent communication skills, will enable you to effectively understand and interpret client, designer, and contractor needs.
What You Will Do
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating with teams to design and deliver major workplace and commercial office building projects.
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from estimating and bidding to project kick-off, weekly coordination, punch list completion, turnover, opening, and project close-out.
- Facilitate communication between project teams, clients, vendors, contractors, consultants, and building and permitting officials.
- Provide technical guidance and innovative solutions to resolve complex technical and design challenges.
- Maintain project manuals and specifications.
- Conduct site visits, process submittals, substitution requests, and RFIs during construction.
- Demonstrate a proactive problem-solving attitude and collaborate closely with the wider consultancy team to develop innovative technical design solutions.
Your Qualifications
- Registered with RIBA or ARB.
- Minimum 3 years of post-ARB qualification experience in design, detailing, and/or construction documentation.
- Proven experience in the design and delivery of workplace and commercial office building projects, with a strong focus on repositioning.
- Experience in project leadership, excellent client liaison, and team management skills.
- Proficiency in Revit is essential, with the ability to work within BIM Level 2 standards.
- Experience with Rhino, Grasshopper, and 3ds Max is advantageous.
- Knowledge of the full project lifecycle, from conception to delivery.
- Understanding of UK building regulations, standards, and building structures.
- Ability to develop collaborative relationships across the firm, with clients, and with other key stakeholders.
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and relationship-management skills.
