Experienced Locum Veterinary Nurse Wanted

At GLG Vets, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Locum Veterinary Nurse to join our team for a few weeks or months while we recruit a new permanent RVN.
- We operate from three independent sites, allowing us to provide comprehensive care to our patients.
- Main clinic facilities enable in-house treatment of cases with minimal need for referral.
- Supportive management teams at each site foster a positive work environment.
- Our 38-strong team includes 16 experienced nurses, ensuring a collaborative and efficient working atmosphere.
- We prioritize staff development and offer good caring support.
- An open culture emphasizes continuous professional development (CPD).
The successful candidate will undertake surgical and consulting duties as a Registered Veterinary Nurse.
- They will be able to manage most surgical cases and schedule procedures effectively.
- Opportunities exist for autonomy and specialization within the clinic.
We seek an experienced candidate who possesses several years of practice experience.
- Further qualifications are desirable but not essential.
- Excellent client care skills are crucial for this role.
- The ability to coach others in the nursing team is highly valued.
We offer a competitive salary estimated at around £30-40k per annum, depending on experience.
