Engineering Shift Manager Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced engineering professional to lead a team of multi-skilled engineers at a leading food manufacturer in Preston.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of multi-skilled engineers to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our production facility.
- Oversee the daily operations of the production facility, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and optimize production efficiency.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the engineering team.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
