A challenging opportunity has arisen for a skilled Automation Engineer to join our client, a leading systems integrator in Cheshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring and developing PLC / SCADA software from scratch.

This is an exciting chance for a talented individual with strong programming skills and solid documentation experience to work on a wide range of control system projects across various sectors, including process, utilities, water treatment, food & drink, chemical, and pharmaceutical.

The ideal candidate will have a degree qualification and more than 5 years' relevant experience, as well as the ability to deliver the project lifecycle from concept through to completion.

As a Systems Integrator, we provide the best available equipment and a professional, modern working environment for our engineering teams to deliver from.

This role offers a competitive salary of £40-65k per annum and a 80/20 split of office-based work and site visits, with opportunities for training and career progression.

Our team is based in Cheshire, with easy access to Manchester, Liverpool, Runcorn, Warrington, Stockport, Widnes, Chester, and Northwich.

This position is open to candidates who are UK driving licence holders and can work in the UK without sponsorship.
