Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Infrastructure Risk Management Leader to join our team. As a key member of our Disaster Recovery & Investigations (DRI) team, you will lead root cause investigations into disasters impacting Amazon facilities. Your expertise in risk management and technical infrastructure will drive the investigation process until origin and cause are highlighted.

In this role, you will partner closely with legal, risk, and asset management teams to validate contractual obligations and coordinate investigation activities with insurance representatives. You will also consolidate key learnings into written closing reports that include corrective and preventative actions for building system design, storage practices, and/or safety programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead root cause investigations into disasters impacting Amazon facilities
  • Partner with legal, risk, and asset management teams to validate contractual obligations
  • Coordinate investigation activities with insurance representatives
  • Consolidate key learnings into written closing reports
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent credentials in Engineering or a similar field
  • Extensive years' work experience related to disaster-related commercial/industrial facility investigations and/or reconstruction
  • Professional Engineers (PE or PEng) license, Master of Science (MS) or advanced engineering/technical degree or credentials, preferably in Fire Protection and/or Fire Strategy
Estimated Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum
