Shaw healthcare is seeking a Clinical Deputy Manager to lead and supervise a large staff team in delivering high-quality care at Ledbury Nursing Home. This role is central in maintaining and further developing our care principles, which centre on 'wellness, happiness, and kindness'. You will work with the local community, GP's and professionals to deliver care that truly enables residents to continue to lead as full a life as possible.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the manager in leading and supervising the nursing team to provide high-quality, person-centred care and support.
  • Co-ordinate and lead the nursing team to promote dignity, safety, and independence for residents and staff.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain standards of nursing and care provision within the Service.

As a Clinical Deputy Manager, you will have full accountability for Infection Control implementation and audit throughout the service. You will also be responsible for effectively managing the nursing unit, ensuring admissions and discharges are as per the contract, and liaising with external health professionals.

Requirements:
  • Nurse Qualified with a valid NMC Pin.
  • A strong knowledge of person-centred care.
  • Ability to work closely with each resident, assessing their needs and delivering a care plan that helps each person to live a fuller life.
