The successful candidate will be a Senior Geophysicist with extensive experience in geophysical surveys and data analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geophysics, including electromagnetics, magnetics, and seismic techniques.
As a key member of our team, the Senior Geophysicist will be responsible for managing projects from initial planning to final reporting. This includes assessing project requirements, agreeing effective techniques, and ensuring quality and customer service standards are met.
We estimate that this role will offer a salary of up to £45,000 per annum, based on experience, plus bonus.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing projects based on customer requirements
- Assessing and agreeing effective techniques prior to site work
- Collecting and managing high-quality data using various geophysical techniques
- Using specialist software and drawing packages to process, analyze, and interpret data
- Reporting findings to clients, including factual reports and interpretation and recommendations
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience
- Full driving license
- Good physical fitness
- Right to work and live in the UK
