About Gailarde
Gailarde is a family-run business established in 1979 to provide household textiles for the contract trade. In recent years, we have expanded into wholesale provision of homeware and soft furnishings, launching various retail e-commerce businesses.
Your Role
This role will work in our Finance team under the supervision of the Head of Finance, ensuring smooth day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable invoices, procurement team coordination, and purchase order verification.
Key Responsibilities- Verify and record accounts payable invoices, collaborate with the Procurement team, and check POs to ensure timely and accurate financial processing.
- Reconcile accounts payable ledgers to guarantee all invoices and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Investigate discrepancies by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly statements, generating reports detailing accounts payables status.
- Prepare bank deposits, verify discrepancies, resolve clients' billing issues, and facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients.
- Process staff corporate credit cards and expenses, perform daily bank reconciliations, and prepare payment runs.
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
