About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head Veterinary Nurse to join our dynamic team at White Cross Vets in Roundhay.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, reflecting the importance of this role in delivering exceptional patient care and leading our nursing team.

The Role

  • Lead our veterinary nursing team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure high-quality patient care and excellent clinical outcomes.
  • Develop and implement nursing protocols and policies, staying up-to-date with best practices and industry developments.
  • Collaborate with veterinarians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and improve overall practice performance.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a veterinary nurse, preferably in a leadership or management role.
  • Strong clinical skills, including surgical nursing and critical care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
