Lead Practitioner for Spanish

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced teacher to join our team as Lead Practitioner for Spanish. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a leading role in improving teaching and learning, ensuring high standards of achievement, and contributing to the development of our curriculum.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the improvement of teaching and learning in the Spanish faculty, ensuring high standards of achievement and progress for all students.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to raise student achievement, with a focus on closing the gap for disadvantaged students.
- Contribute to the development of our curriculum, ensuring it is engaging, challenging, and relevant to the needs of our students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice, develop new ideas, and improve teaching and learning across the faculty.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our teaching and learning strategies, making recommendations for improvement.
- QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree.
- Experience of improvement planning and implementing strategies to raise student achievement.
- Excellent teaching practice and behaviour management skills.
- Ability to contribute to improving the quality of learning and teaching and curriculum.
- Experience of high-quality pupil tracking and feedback practices.
