Job Title: Commissioning Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join our team in the Bodmin-Cornwall area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the water industry and experience working on wastewater or water treatment projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring that all relevant health and safety documents are correctly recorded
  • Supervising work to ensure that it is carried out in accordance with method statements and work instructions from the project manager
  • Recognising the health and safety considerations are central to all tasks and contribute to ensuring safe working environments for all
  • Actively supporting the Site Manager to maintain and enforce safety standards as required by statute and in accordance with Safety Policies
  • Understanding of technical MEICA works
  • Control panels and control systems experience
  • Supervising the installation of process packages and field pipework in a water process environment
  • Completion of documentation and equipment checks
  • Preparing the set up of instrumentation and scaling instruments back to the main control system
  • Adherence to all H&S legislation, documentation and procedures
Requirements:
  • Having a strong background of working within the water industry
  • CSCS qualified for managing safely
  • Must have wastewater experience
  • First Aid 3 day course
  • Valid Full UK Driving Licence
  • Safe delivery of water projects to time, cost, and quality
  • Be confident working in a team and adapting to more responsibility
Desirable Skills:
  • Ambitious and dynamic personality
  • Experience of working on Water Industry construction projects, preferably with experience of large and complex deliveries
  • Someone with a commitment to Right first time
  • Ideally have 5 years water and MEICA experience
  • Electrical Commissioning Experience Desired
