About the Role:

We are a leading provider of middle-mile logistics services, seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across the country.

We pride ourselves on having a diverse and knowledgeable workforce, providing excellent customer-centric services in a safe and friendly environment.

We are looking for a driver who is energetic, a team player, customer-focused, and safe to join our team. You will be working Monday to Friday as a Day/Night Tramper, with a normal week starting on a Monday morning and returning to base on a Friday.

This is a tramping role, and you will be expected to stay overnight in the units, which are modern and well-equipped.

There is no loading or unloading required; you will simply drive safely, provide good customer service, and work positively with other members of the team.

Essential Requirements:

  • Valid C+E Class 1 license with no more than six penalty points (as well as no DD, DR, or IN endorsements)
  • Driver CPC card with no current suspension or revocation
  • Hold a Digital Tachograph / Smart Card
  • A strong understanding of Driver Transport Legislation
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Willing to spend weekly nights out between Monday to Friday
  • Willing to undergo a Background Check (BGC) and Drug and Alcohol (D&A) test

We offer a competitive salary of up to £42,000 per year, as well as a range of benefits, including performance/safety bonuses, consistent regular work, 28 days paid holidays, sick pay, and a workplace pension.

Shift Patterns:

We offer flexible shifts, including Monday to Friday, with 5 days on and 2 days off. Weekend off is also available, and occasional overtime is available each week.

Flexible Language Requirement:

We require English language skills for safety purposes.
