Join Our Team as an Academic Support Worker

We are seeking a reliable and committed individual to work with students at the University of Dundee as an Academic Support Worker. As a member of our team, you will provide essential support to students with disabilities, attending lectures and seminars to take accurate notes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide note-taking support to students with disabilities, ensuring accurate and legible handwritten notes.
  • Review notes at the end of the lecture to ensure they are in a suitable format for the student to access effectively.
  • Maintain a professional relationship with students and work within the policies and procedures of the institution.

Requirements:

  • Have neat handwriting and be able to produce notes in a legible and presentable manner.
  • Good typing skills and accurate spelling and grammar skills.
  • Punctuality and reliability, with the ability to work quickly and under time restrictions.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
