Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Microbiologist to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a Senior Microbiologist, you will be responsible for carrying out scientific and technical tasks within the Microbiology Quality Control Department in an effective and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine laboratory procedures and oversee the work of others within the section.
  • Prepare technical documentation as needed.
  • Train others as required.
  • Ensure personal lead times are aligned with departmental goals.
  • Support and lead projects in the department.
  • Develop and validate laboratory procedures.
  • Review analytical and laboratory data for accuracy and compliance.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and participate in problem-solving.
  • Carry out other tasks as required.
  • Ensure cGMP is applied in their area of work and comply with cGMP policies.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Applied Biology or a closely related field.
  • Experience in Pharmaceutical Microbiology.
  • Ability to work to critical timelines.
  • Proactive approach and effective communication skills.
