Carrington West is recruiting a Private Sector Housing Compliance Expert to join their team.

In this role, you will work with the Private Sector Housing team to improve housing standards and reduce empty properties.

Key Responsibilities
  1. You will conduct inspections, assessments, and risk evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
  2. Your duties will include preparing reports, serving notices, and collaborating with other agencies to ensure properties meet regulatory standards.
  3. You will also provide expert advice and guidance to tenants, landlords, and letting agents on housing conditions and legislation.
Essential Requirements
  • A minimum Level 3 Certificate in Housing (or commitment to achieve) is required.
  • Relevant experience in housing, enforcement, or property standards (5+ years for Senior Officer level) is necessary.
  • A valid driving license is essential, along with the ability to travel for property inspections.

The estimated salary for this role is £38,000 - £48,000 per annum, depending on experience.
