About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Conservation Architect to join our client's London practice. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for guiding and mentoring staff, providing specialist advice on pre-applications and planning applications, and leading a team of technical professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guiding and mentoring staff to ensure the successful delivery of projects
  • Providing specialist advice on pre-applications and planning applications to ensure compliance with relevant environmental and heritage legislation
  • Leading a team of technical professionals to deliver high-quality projects
  • Engaging with stakeholders, contractors, and specialists to ensure effective project management
Requirements
  • 10 years of experience post-qualification working on UK conservation and historic building projects
  • Proven ability to lead a team of technical professionals and engage with stakeholders, contractors, and specialists
  • Experience in historical report writing and technical knowledge
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Photoshop
  • Strong knowledge of the planning process and conversant with relevant environmental and heritage legislation and guidance
