About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our EMESA Portfolio Acceleration team within the Private Equity Practice Area at Boston Consulting Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing the commercial agenda of our PIPE Portfolio business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Track and own the flow of information for private equity deals, staying up-to-date on developments with PE funds and portfolio companies.
  • Support senior leaders in driving work with priority clients, including developing and commercializing value acceleration products and IP.
  • Manage the commercial plan and monitor the state of the business, ensuring alignment and coordination of efforts across regions.
  • Partner with BCG's functional experts to identify and develop business opportunities, and support senior leaders in creating materials for client roadshows and meetings.
Requirements
  • 6-8+ years of relevant experience in business development, private equity, or a related field.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational, planning, and project management skills, with the ability to lead teams and coach others.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to independently resolve diverse problems and establish guidelines.
  • Ability to effectively influence and work with senior stakeholders, and to multi-task and operate effectively in a matrix organization.
