We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in the UK. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a diverse group of highly skilled individuals, all driven by a shared passion for innovation and excellence.

Job Description
  • Design mechanical systems for spacecraft, including structure, thermal, and mechanisms, with a focus on troubleshoot design issues.
  • Conduct mechanical requirements reviews to ensure compliance with ECSS standards.
  • Act as the technical interface with other internal technical areas and external suppliers.
  • SUPPORT THE FABRICATION, ASSEMBLY, AND TESTING OF PROTOTYPES.
  • Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations to communicate design and test results to the team.
  • Perform component dimensioning through hand calculations using a static equivalent loads approach.
  • Draft manufacturing documentation and assemblies procedures.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical design.
  • Proven experience in managing aerospace projects, demonstrating familiarity with ECSS standards and requirements.
  • Background in FEM modeling and analysis.
  • Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and assembly techniques used in the aerospace industry.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, background in CAD PTC Creo software is a plus.
Language

English proficiency is required.
